Volunteering and Service
We welcome (and need) concerned and eager members to help this club continue to be available for the newcomers and oldsters alike!
We have lots of opportunities for muscle, creativity, ideas, dedication, cooperation and teamwork. There are positions behind the counter, as a groundskeeper and cleaning the building too! This is a great way for newcomers to learn and practice being a part of society again by working along side of folks who've been involved in 12-step recovery for a while.
As a 501(c)3 organization we are also available to provide service opportunities for people involved in 12-step meeting programs to complete community service hours.
Activities Committee
If you're interested in joining this busy committee, attend their meeting on the first Sunday of each month at 6:54 PM. Volunteers are needed at all levels.
If you don't want to be a committee member, you are welcome to come and help us host events.
Donations for supplies are appreciated.
Membership Committee
The committee is responsible for attracting new members and encouraging timely renewals; for recommending ways to acknowledge and orient new members and to encourage their participation in club functions; and to review membership issues and give reports to the Board of Trustees.
If you are interested in being a part of this committee, call the club at (503) 253-9321
Miscellaneous Projects
We welcome your help and ideas!
To start or help with a project, you will need to sign up with our Operations Management Team Building and Maintenance Supervisor. All building, maintenance and landscaping projects MUST be approved and budgeted BEFORE beginning. Thank you for your service and ideas!
